Description

The pocket-sized Vscan Extend™ ultrasound system is specifically designed for mobile and rapid use. With a variety of imaging modes, including B-mode, Lung M-mode and a colour Doppler, the unit is ideal for measuring and visualizing anatomical structures and fluids. The device is particularly handy and can be started from standby mode within 10 seconds, making it ideal for examination directly at the accident site or bedside. The system is DICOM-compatible and also allows data transfer via USB or Wi-Fi.

It has a user-friendly interface and intuitive touch screen. Especially during initial use of the ultrasound system, the user's ultrasound examination is simplified with the help of predefined protocols that provide step-by-step instructions.

Thanks to anonymized images, data encryption according to FIPS 197 and password-protected access, patient data is secured even when not in use. Data transmission is also encrypted. The device also supports enterprise-grade wireless encryption standards, including EAP and WPA2 (PSK)​ and has restricted administrative access to critical settings such as Wi-Fi encryption and MDM client installation.

The diagnostic ultrasound system is optionally equipped with a sector probe or a dual-headed probe consisting of a linear and sector transducer. In addition to the ultrasound unit and the respective transducer, the delivery also includes a global AC adapter, a rechargeable battery, a USB cable, two micro SD memory cards, a protective cover and ultrasound gel (60g).
