The Illuco IDS-3100+ Magnum skin magnifier is the latest product from DermoScan. This magnifying glass features 70 LEDs to offer particularly powerful illumination of the skin area being examined. The LEDs consist of 64 white LEDs and 6 UV LEDs between which the examiner can switch, depending on the goal of the examination. Furthermore, the Illuco-3100+ Magnum has a 3-stage adjustable illumination strength that makes it possible for the user to individually adapt the light properties to the circumstances of the examination.

Each LED has a lifespan of over 100,000 hours, assuring that the skin magnifier lasts for decades, even when used on a daily basis.

The Illuco IDS-3100+ Skin Magnifier can be switched between the following illumination modes:

Polarised light (cross polarised, parallel polarised)
Non-polarised light
365 nm UV light
396 nm UV light

The Illuco Skin Magnifier—Universally Applicable

Due to the various settings on the DermoScan skin magnifier, standard examinations and skin examinations with the Wood light can be carried out. Moreover, the Illuco IDS-3100 is useful in fluorescence diagnostics. This makes the LED skin magnifier suitable for a variety of important dermatological exams–it is a practical and economic multifunctional device.

Portable Use with Integrated Lithium-Ion Battery

The Illuco skin magnifier is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that is fully charged within only 3.5 hours. Depending on your chosen setting (light mode and brightness level), the skin magnifier can be used continuously for 2.5 to 4 hours with a fully charged battery.

To save on energy, the Magnum IDS-3100 also features an auto-off function that turns off the skin magnifier after 5 minutes of non-use (e.g. switching between various modes). Thanks to the practical charge level display, the skin magnifier shows if the battery has enough charge or if recharging is necessary. As needed, it is possible to replace the battery.

A charging cable and charging station are included with your Illuco IDS-3100+ Magnum skin magnifier.

The advantage of the charging station lies in the fact that the LED magnifying glass stands upright in the station and it guarantees a determined place for the device to be stored. This greatly reduces the risk of damage.
