Description

GranuFlex® Extra Thin is a hydrocolloid dressing designed for the treatment of easily exudating wounds and for preventive skin protection.

GranuFlex® Extra Thin is a hydrocolloid dressing for the treatment of mildly exudative acute wounds such as minor burns, abrasions, lacerations, post-operative wounds and slightly exudative chronic wounds such as grade I and II pressure ulcers, venous, arterial or other leg ulcers.

It contains a unique formulation of ConvaTec hydrocolloids, different from other hydrocolloid dressings. The outer film-coated polyurethane foam layer maintains a moist environment in the wound and promotes the wound healing process.

The main clinical benefits are:

Easy to use*1, can be shaped and cut to fit for easy wound dressing in awkward areas;
can be used on lacerations and superficial wounds as well as dry to slightly exuding dermal ulcers;
protects easily exuding wounds, protects newly formed tissue and skin at risk of damage due to rubbing or grating;
a moist wound healing environment under the dressing, which promotes re-epithelialisation*2;
can be used on the body as a primary or secondary dressing;
